This weekend’s Peninsula Winter Games went very well and had hundreds of people participating. That word came from the Soldotna Chamber’s January Yeager

She said that the organizers hoped for the same turnout as last year, and they surpassed that number. We asked her what might change with the Peninsula Winter Games in the future.

The Peninsula Winter Games have been held each year for 35 years. The event focuses completely on giving kids plenty to do for free in the middle of the winter.
