Parnell’s New Cabinet Heads Not Drawing Much Attention in House Yet

As Governor Sean Parnell continues to build a cabinet for his first elected term, some replacements have been made at some of the departments. Last week, we asked House Speaker Mike Chenault if he had an impression on the new cabinet, so far.

The current Attorney General, Dan Sullivan, is replacing Tom Irwin. We also asked Chenault if he knew much about the new Fish and Game Commissioner, Cora Campbell.

Chenault says the House of Representatives doesn’t have a scheduled meeting with the new cabinet, once it is filled. However, Chenault says the Finance Committee Chairs plan to meet with all of the cabinet members.
