Ostrander Continues Running Domination: SoHi Girls Race To Team Title

Kenai Central’s Allie Ostrander continued her domination of Alaska’s cross-country running courses winning the ACS Class Races and the Palmer Invitational high school cross country events.

 

ACS Class Races at Cheney Lake 3K Course

Ostrander completed the 3-kilometer ACS course in 10 minutes, 38 seconds.  SoHi’s Dani McCormick finished third followed by teammate Sadie Fox in fourth.  For the boys, Skyview’s Micah Hilbish finished third overall, behind Kodiak’s Levi Thomet.  Kenai’s Jonah and Jordan Theisen finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

 

Palmer Invitational @ Palmer High

Ostrander again lead all girls with a 17:46 in the 4A varsity girls 5-kilometer event.  SoHi’s Olivia Hutchings finished fourth followed by teammates Dani McCormick, fifth; Sadi Fox, 12th, Daisy Nelson, 23rd; good for a 1st place team title for the SoHi girls.

On the boys side, Kodiak’s Levi Thomet takes the 4A title.  Kenai’s Jonah and Jordan Theisen finish 2nd and 8th.
