Ongoing Sterling Highway Work Impacting Drivers Near Cooper Landing

DOT Crews are asking drivers to be advised to ongoing construction along the Sterling Highway. Crews will be working daily from the Seward Highway “Y” to Jim’s Landing.

Drivers can expect daily single-lane traffic, flagging, and pilot-car operations in the area from 7:00am to 7:00pm throughout the construction season.

Road crews are continuing the work aimed at improving travel along the 21-mile stretch of the Sterling Highway. Work will include resurfacing, improved drainage, new signage, guardrails and striping.
