One Injured in Accident Saturday Afternoon Just Outside of Soldotna

Troopers say that just before 2:10pm, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision at Mile 109 Sterling Highway involving two vehicles.

40-year-old Krystal Odonnell of Kasilof was travelling south on the Sterling Highway when her 1994 Ford Explorer struck a 2010 Jeep Wrangler that was being pulled behind a motor home driven by 69-year-old John Tollaksen of Wisconsin.

Ms. Odonnell received suspected minor injuries and was transported to CPH for treatment.

No other injuries were reported to the troopers, and troopers say that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
