Oilers Shutout Seals 3-0 To Close Series

The Peninsula Oilers pitchers combined for a four hit, shutout of the San Francisco Seals on Wednesday, taking three of four from the Seals in the first series of the Alaska Baseball League season.

Jeff Paschke was 2 for 3 with a run scored and also pitched the ninth inning for the game save.  Starter Jimmy Nesselt went five innings without allowing a run; Cody Richie picks-up the win with one inning of work in the 6th inning.

 

The Oilers open a four-game series against the Lake Erie Monarchs on Friday, June 13th at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.
