OIlers Open Final Series With 2-0 Loss To Pilots

The Peninsula Oilers opened their final home stand of the season on Thursday, falling to the Anchorage Glacier Pilots 2-0 in Alaska Baseball League action.

Lack of offense again cost the Oilers; as the Oilers bats managed only five hits, while starting pitcher Sam Moore held the Pilots to two runs and eight hits in a nine-inning, complete game.

Friday is Carl’s Jr. Night with free admission; pack the house night!

Saturday is the final game of the season–Peak’s Fan Appreciation Night with hot dogs, chips and coke for all Oiler fans.
