Oil Tax Repeal Group Says They’ve Gathered over Forty-Thousand Signatures

The group, “Vote Yes Repeal the Giveaway” today is announcing that they’ve gathered of over forty thousand signatures in forty districts across Alaska, in their efforts to send Senate Bill 21 to a vote of the people in 2014.

Pat Lavin, campaign coordinator said that people of all shapes, colors, sizes, and political persuasions signed the book as Alaskans because they don’t understand the bad business deal made last session by compromised politicians. Lavin said that giving billions away with nothing in return just doesn’t make any sense.

The group is planning to deliver the signatures to the State Division of Elections tomorrow.

How sweet! That “compromised” politician is Parnell the crook! There will be numerous allegations over the next year that the oil companies wont produce with a higher tax bracket. Allegations bought and paid by the mega money oil compaies! Stand strong Alaskans, protect your sought after minerals!
