The Denali/Kachemak Wrestling Tournament, a qualifying tournament to the 1A,2A,3A state wrestling championships, will be contested at Seward High School on Friday and Saturday, December 2nd and 3rd.
Nikiski and Skyview will represent the central peninsula, the Panthers competing in the 3A division after the ASAA reclassified small school wrestling to include Skyview, Homer and Houston.
Wrestling at the Denali/Kachemak Wrestling Tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. on both days. The top five wrestlers in each weight class advance to the 1A,2A,3A ASAA State Wresting Championships, which will be hosted at Nikiski High School on December 9th and 10th.

Soldotna and Kenai High School will travel to Wasilla High for the annual North/South Wrestling Tournament on Friday and Saturday, December 2nd and 3rd. SoHi and Kenai continue to wrestle in the large school division and will continue into February leading to the ASAA 4A State Wrestling Championships.
