Murkowski Tells State Legislature More Domestic Oil Production is Needed

The major message from U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski to the State Legislature, yesterday, was the need for a larger domestic oil supply. She showed concerns about the unrest in the Middle East as a reason to open ANWR. Legislation is expected from the House of Representatives this summer to address ANWR.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Chenault of Nikiski was pleased to see Murkowski discussing oil.
