Murkowski Says: EPA Goes Too Far

Posted: April 26, 2013 at 6:35 pm

U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski today addressed the Senate Appropriations Committee about the extensive rulemaking of the EPA. Murkowski listed roughly 60 EPA rules which could have a negative effect on Alaska, including rules for incinerators which could cost a Soldotna Veterinarian - Twin Cities Veterinary Clinic – $50,000 a year to comply.

Sen. Murkowski(R-AK): “It’s a one-size-fits-all approach, and I think that’s an example of where you have regulations that go above and beyond what anybody ever anticipated.”
