The Better Business Bureau is launching a public campaign, naming April ‘Financial Literacy Month.’ Each day, the BBB Facebook page is giving out tips to help improve your money management skills.
For April 1, the top tip is: Commit to change. The Bureau says the first step in getting your finances under control is to “examine your attitudes about money.”
Sharon Lechter, co-author of ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad,’ is part of the BBB’s push, and says: “Focus on what you CAN control – your own spending and how you spend your time.”
The daily tips will continue throughout April on the BBB’s website.
