Today, students from Kenai Alternative School, Kenai Central High School, Nikiski Middle-High School, Skyview High School, and Soldotna High School will be attending the Peninsula Job Fair from 10:00—4:00 at the Peninsula Job Center in Kenai. More than sixty employers will be present to speak to job seekers about their current and future job openings.

John O’Brien, director of secondary education and student activities for the local district called this collaboration between central peninsula high schools and the Department of Labor and Workforce Development highly successful in past years, saying that the district is excited about the opportunities this has for KPBSD juniors and seniors who will have access to over sixty employers in our area.

Through the work of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development staff and KPBSD counselors, local students should be well prepared for today’s Peninsula job fair.
