Lit Cigarette Leads to DUI Arrest

Wednesday July 31st, just after 3:30am, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1999 BMW on Bridge Access in Kenai for a lit cigarette being tossed from the car.

The investigation revealed 30-year-old Weston Bryant of Kenai, was under the influence of alcohol while driving.

He was arrested. Bryant further refused to provide a sample of his breath into the Datamaster, adding the charge of Refusal.

He was remanded into Wildwood without incident.
