The Kenai Watershed Forum continues to raise funds for the renovation of its new facilities being planned within the Soldotna Creek Park.  The Director of the Kenai Watershed Forum, Robert Ruffner, discussed the forum’s recent efforts with our news department.

Ruffner said the Kenai Watershed Forum wants to retain the original look of the original office for the Alaska Road Commission at the confluence of the Kenai River and Soldotna Creek.  He said the office is 150 feet from the Kenai River and 150 feet from the Soldotna Creek.  He said ground would be broken at the Kenai River Festival this summer.
