Chief Sandahl said that a lot of police time was spent at the city dock
Sandahl told us the KPD took just under1200 total calls for service during the month of July. To put this into perspective, Sandahl said the average number of calls during a winter month is 550.
He also said that he is extremely proud of his officers for their work during the month of July, especially with the restricted leave possibilities.
