KPD Officers Respond to Suspicious Vehicle Call that Leads to Drug Charges

Last night, at approximately 11:10 p.m. the Kenai Police received an anonymous report of a vehicle running with the driver passed out at the corner of Willow Street and Marathon Road.

According to Sgt. Ben Langham with the KPD, officers responded, finding another vehicle had stopped and occupants were attempting to wake the driver identified as 22-year-old Tanner J. Waterbury of Soldotna.

Officers contacted Waterbury, and subsequent investigation led to his being issued summonses to court for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Subsistence in the 6th degree, as well as, Reckless Driving.
