KPD Make Arrest in Ongoing Criminal Mischief Case

 Wednesday morning, a roughly 4:20am officers with the Kenai Police Department were conducting an ongoing investigation into criminal mischief.

Subsequently, KPD officers contacted the suspect, identified as 37-year-old Damon M. Evans of Kenai and as a result, Evans was arrested on the charges of Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree and 4th degree Assault  on a Peace Officer.  Evans was transported to Wildwood pending arraignment.

The Kenai Police did confirm that records indicated Evans also had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for failure to appear on previous charges of criminal mischief, and 2nd degree harassment issued by the State Troopers in Soldotna, as well as an Anchorage State Trooper warrant for failing to appear on the charge of 3rd degree criminal mischief, as well, violations to previous conditions of release.
