KPD Arrest One After Stealing $40k from Residence

The Kenai Police made an arrest late last week in the ongoing investigation of a residence that had been robbed while the homeowners were on vacation. Kenai Police Sgt. Ben Langham provided the update this morning…

 

 

Sgt. Langham: “On March 10th, Kenai Police Department received a report of a residential burglary in the area of Beaver Loop Road. Items stolen included, 3 ATV’s, tools, trailers, a treadmill, and miscellaneous other household items, totaling more than $40,000. During the investigation, Jessie Carlson, age 32 of Kenai was arrested for Theft in the 1st degree and  Burglary in the 1st degree. The Kenai Police Department has been working closely with members of our community to recover many of the stolen items.”

 

As we’d reported, the Kenai Police reached out to the public through the crimestoppers program to obtain details on this case.
