KPC Looking Forward to Bright Future

The Kenai Peninsula College’s Kenai River Campus is continuing along with two major construction projects. We asked KPC Director, Gary Turner, what the future holds for the local college once the construction ends this August…

Turner: “Well, it’s all based on the construction. It’s exciting to get student housing, and hopefully get 96-students living on campus 24/7, and with that excitement, also comes the headaches that might go along with that too. With the career and tech center, our process technology, instrumentation, and computer electronics programs will move into there, and that facility will be state of the art. Students will be training on what they’ll going to see out on the field, it’s a wonderful building. “
