ONE DIRECTION’S STYLES COMPARES GROUP TO THE BEATLES
With America having spent the past few weeks in the throes of a second wave of Beatlemania by marking the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ first visit to the U.S., One Direction member Harry Styles hinted his group is in some ways on par with the Fab Four. Styles told UK’s NME, “We all sat and watched the film of the Beatles arriving in America. And, to be honest, that really was like us. Stepping off the plane, the girls, the madness.” Styles backtracked a bit, adding, “But none of us think we’re in the same league as them music-wise. We’d be total fools if we did. Fame-wise, it’s probably even bigger, but we don’t stand anywhere near them in terms of music.”
BIEBER REACHED SPEEDS OF 136 MPH PRIOR TO MIAMI ARREST
The GPS speed readout in Justin Bieber’s rented Lamborghini showed the pop star was doing 136 mph just hours before he was arrested in Miami last month, according to TMZ. The GPS speed readout indicates Bieber was driving at 108 mph at 1:23a and he reached 136 mph a minute later, but at the time cops pulled him over, he was only travelling at 27 mph.
TIMBERLAKE, LADY GAGA BOOKED FOR FALLON-HOSTED TONIGHT SHOW
The complete lineup has been unveiled for the first week of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as host, with Lady Gaga inked for Tuesday, February 18 and Justin Timberlake confirmed for Friday the 21st. Additional music acts booked to appear include country star Tim McGraw on Wednesday the 19th and Canadian rockers Arcade Fire on Thursday the 20th. As previously announced, U2 will be Fallon’s first Tonight Show musical guests this Monday, February 17.

The sun came up on Monday so that means another photograph came out of Miley Cyrus nearly naked and definitely topless. The latest (NOTE CONTENT) topless shot of Cyrus is part of a spread in the new issue of W magazine called “Pillow Tweets” that also features near-naked snaps of several celebrities including Ciara, Vanessa Hudgens and Tyra Banks, just to name a few.

Rapper Kanye West’s reality star fiancé Kim Kardashian congratulated her man on the tenth anniversary of the release of his debut album The College Dropout. On Monday, Kardashian tweeted: “10 years ago today Kanye released his 1st album The College Dropout! This was a game changer! Could only imagine what you were thinking and feeling today 10 years ago! Happy Anniversary to the best producer/artist over the past decade!!!! Can’t wait for the next 10 years!”

Fans of Mariah Carey who have been waiting patiently for the diva’s next as-yet untitled studio album to drop can now circle May 6 as the date they’ll have the chance to hold the CD in their hands. The highly anticipated record was initially scheduled to be out last July, but the perfectionist pushed it back. Finally, a new single, “You’re Mine (Eternal),” is due tomorrow.

Pot, sex and cars (not necessarily in that order) are the driving forces behind Wiz Khalifa’s brand new and very explicit single (NOTE CONTENT) “We Dem Boyz” which the rapper debuted on his YouTube channel on Monday. The track, the first single from Wiz’s forthcoming third studio album, Blacc Hollywood, is available today at all digital retailers.
