Kenai Woman Takes Top Honors in Natural Competition

A Kenai woman took the top honors in the 26th Annual Anchorage Pro-Am Natural Bodybuilding Competition last weekend.

Competition Promoter Derek Snelson said Myra Arbelovsky won the 5’4″ and under division…

Snelson: “She trained like a champion. She trained natural, and she is a champion. She supports natural and a healthy lifestyle, so that’s what it’s all about.

Snelson said the competition is adamant about drug use and conducts thorough drug testing. He said winners like Myra provide a positive role model for young people…

Snelson: “If they want to do that, that’s their own business, but it’s not right for kids to see that. Myra definitely put the hours in at the gym. She probably ate a lot of that good Kenai River salmon you guys got down there.”
