Kenai Woman Arrested on Theft, Drugs, and Multiple Warrants

Just before 5:05pm Saturday evening, officers with the Kenai Police Department received a report of a wanted person driving on Kenai Spur Highway at Bridge Access Rd traveling towards Soldotna.

KPD Officers subsequently 55-year-old contacted Kathleen D. Flemming of Kenai, who was arrested for Theft in the Second Degree, Theft in the Fourth Degree, three counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Sixth Degree, Criminal Impersonation in the Second Degree, Driving While License Revoked, providing False Information, and Tampering with Evidence.

Ms. Flemming was also remanded on multiple State Trooper warrants including a $10,000 Felony Warrant for Failure to Appear original charge Promoting Contraband in the First Degree and two charges of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a $2,500 Misdemeanor Warrant for Failure to Appear original charge Theft in the Fourth Degree, a $2,500 Misdemeanor Warrant for Failure to Appear original charge Driving Under the Influence, a $2,500 Misdemeanor Warrant for Failure to Appear original charge False Information, and a $2,500 Misdemeanor Warrant for Failure to Appear original charge Theft in the Third Degree.

KPD officers also contacted 55-year-old John M. Forton of Wasilla, who was issued a summons for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Sixth Degree.

Flemming was transported to Wildwood Pretrial Facility. Forton was released from the scene.
