Kenai Uncertain Who is Moving Next to Walmart

Kenai’s City Planner Marilyn Kebschull said she did not know the name of the business purchasing one of the lots near Walmart on the Kenai Spur. Walmart Realty has confirmed to our news department that a sale is pending on the lot; however, they were not at liberty to disclose the name until after closing. Kebschull said that the city doesn’t have to be notified about the sale of the property. We asked her if this business would have to go through the Kenai Planning and Zoning Commission.
