Kenai to Consider Zoning of Bees

On Wednesday night, the Kenai Planning and Zoning Commission started a scheduled discussion about regulating beekeepers. Kenai Planning and Zoning Director Marilyn Kebschull said this issue was brought in front of the commission as a result of problems with bees in a residential neighborhood this summer.

Any type of recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission must have the approval of the Kenai City Council.
