Kenai has been lobbying the state for money to construct fish-cleaning stations.  However, that will not happen until next summer.  The Dipnet Fishery runs from July 10th until July 31st on the south and north beaches.  Kenai’s population explodes as dipnetters come to town and camp on the beaches.
