The Municipal Park Project in Kenai is on hold, for now, as a result of the recent bidding process. KenaiParks and Recreation Director Bob Frates said the bids came in high.

With this delay, Frates isn’t certain all of the work will be completed this summer.

The park is located at the end of Forest Drive.

This story seems a bit premature to say the project is on hold. The City Council has yet to vote whether to accept or reject the bids.
