A 22-year-old Kenai man has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, without a license, in a stolen pizza delivery vehicle.
Passing motorists called 9-1-1 Wednesday evening around 10pm with reports that a pizza delivery vehicle was driving “erratically” and stopping on the Seward Highway. Troopers contacted the driver, Sean Mills of Kenai, as the vehicle was stopped in the middle of the southbound lane at Mile 52.
Mills reportedly refused to get out of the vehicle, which is believed to have been stolen from an Anchorage business. Troopers say he was taken into custody after a short pursuit.
He is being charged with vehicle theft, driving under the influence, failure to stop at the direction of police officer and driving without a valid license.
Mills was remanded to Seward Jail.
