Kenai Council Stays Out of Surgical Center Debate

On the same night that the Soldotna City Council passed resolution in opposition to the Certificate of Need application by Kahtnu Ventures, LLC for a surgical center, the Kenai City Council received a presentation from the group. Once the presentation was completed, the council took no action to show support or opposition. This week, Kenai City Manager Rick Koch was asked why.

Althought the council choose not to take a stance, the Kenai Chamber of Commerce did, by showing support for the facility.
