The Kenai City Council, last night, held the first public hearing on the new draft comprehensive plan. Members of the public spoke to the council about a wide range of issues from millennium square to development along the Keani Spur Highway. Following the public hearing, council member Terry Bookey moved…
Cm. Bookey: “…for the council to hold an additional work session on Friday March, 29th at 6:00pm to discuss the Kenai comp plan. I made this motion, and council graciously agreed to hold this work session, to have a back and forth dialogue with the community in regards to the comp plan, without the confines of a public hearing.”
