Kenai Continues to Have Bear Problem

The Kenai Police Department continues to urge residents to remove any bear attractants from the outside of their homes due to some recent bear sightings throughout the community. Yesterday, Kenai Police Chief Gus Sandahl discussed where the bears have been sighted.

Sandahl is urging people to make the outside of their homes more bear resistant. He described some of the items that need to be removed or secured.
