Johnson Moves to Name Kasilof Bridge After Mike Wiley

Legislation has been introduced to name a Kasilof landmark after the late Mike Wiley. Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly Member Brent Johnson explained…

Johnson: “After Clam Gulch resident Mike Wiley passed away, one of the community members asked Representative Paul Seaton to name the Kasilof bridge after Mike Wylie. Paul Seaton has introduced House Bill 109 to do that very thing.”

Mr. Johnson said he’ll also be introducing an Assembly Resolution…

Johnson: “The Kasilof Historical Association asked me to write a resolution asking the Assembly to endorse it, and I will be doing that at the March 19 meeting and the reason I’m talking about it now is resolutions, of course, only we see them one time and so I wanted the public to know about it so they could comment on it as well.”
