Think About It…….. January 15, 2014
Thousands of we Alaskans carry concealed everyday! It’s just a shame that every Alaskan doesn’t carry concealed. That would make our state the safest state in the nation. Guns in the hands of honest citizen’s saves lives and property, in fact in Switzerland the government issues every household a gun and offers required training to everyone. Switzerland had the lowest gun related crime rate of any civilized country in the world.
So, why should you carry a gun in our carry concealed state of Alaska?
You don’t carry a gun to kill people. You carry a gun to keep from being killed.
You don’t carry a gun to scare people. You carry a gun because sometimes the world is a scary place.
You don’t carry a gun because you are paranoid. You carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.
You don’t carry a gun because you are evil. You carry a gun because you have lived long enough to see evil in the world.
You don’t carry a gun because you hate the government. You carry a gun because you understand the limitations of government.
You don’t carry a gun because you’re angry. You carry a gun so that you don’t have to spend the rest of your life hating yourself for not being prepared.
You don’t carry a gun because you want to shoot someone. You carry a gun because you want to die at a ripe old age, in your bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
You don’t carry a gun to make you feel like a man. You carry a gun because real men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
You don’t carry a gun because you feel inadequate. You carry a gun because unarmed and facing three thugs you are inadequate.
You don’t carry a gun because you love it. You carry a gun because you love life and the people who make it meaningful to you.
Police protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime. They investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone to clean up the mess.
Be thankful for the second amendment. Be thankful you live in Alaska and……. carry concealed everyday and everywhere its allowed.
