Input Being Taken on Kenai Comp Plan Debate

The Kenai Planning and Zoning Commission will be taking public input on the development of the new comprehensive plan for the City of Kenai, during their work session and meeting tonight.

 

Jeff Twait, chairman of the Kenai Planning and Zoning Commission said that public input is still welcome…

 

hope that we can get people to come out and voice their opinions on some of that. How that’s going to will shake down, I really don’t know, I think we’ll come to some sort of compromise that everybody will live with.”

 

Residents have voiced concerns over the placement of commercial development zones adjacent to the Supr Highway and residential neighborhoods.
