The Central Peninsula Hospital’s addition is on schedule with the Borough accepting contractor bids and hopes of breaking ground this summer according to CEO Rick Davis.
Davis also laid out what the building will contain.
Davis: “That is our specialty clinics building, it will hold a spine center, bunch of physicians offices, imaging functions for the hospital, and our infusion center and the rest of the cancer center we’ve been talking about for the last couple of years.”
He added that with everything on schedule so far, the building should be open for business by January 1, 2016.
Borough Mayor Mike Navarre confirmed that the bonds have been sold.
