Homer Police Lieutenant Retiring after Two-Decades with HPD

After 20-years of service to the Homer Police and 25-years in law enforcement, Homer’s number two officer has retired.

Lt. Randy Rosencrans has left the force with plans to eventually move to the Lower 48, where he says he has plans to continue his law enforcement career, possibly in teaching, in Arizona.

Mark Robl, Chief of the Homer Police last week, praised Rosencrans for his service to the department.

Lt. Will Hutt will now take over as the Homer department’s second-in-command officer.
