Homer P.D. Asks For Public Help In Attempted Burglary

The Homer Police Department is seeking public help in an attempted burglary of a Thai restaurant, located about two miles down East End Road.

Homer Police Chief Mark Robl said around 2pm yesterday, the restaurant’s owners attempted to open the side door of their business, but found it jammed. When they were finally able to get it open, they found half a credit card broken off in the lock.

Unfortunately, not enough of the credit card was left to provide clues about the identity of the would-be burglar. Chief Robl said anyone with information is encouraged to contact local police.
