Homer Investigating a Weekend Death

The Homer Police Department continues to investigate the death of a 39-year-old Homer man this past weekend. Sergeant Randy Rosencrans said the body of 39-year-old Denny VanWagoner was found at a home on Bell Avenue by a man and two women. Rosencran says, although no criminal charges have been filed, the police believe drugs may have been involved in VanWagoner’s death. Rosencrans was not releasing the names of the three who discovered VanWagoner, Saturday morning, because of the ongoing investigation.
