Highway Closed At Mile 46 Of Sterling Highway

Soldotna Police have reported a vehicle accident at mile 46 of the Sterling Highway in Cooper Landing

 

Currently both lanes of traffic are closed with no estimated time of reopening.

 

If you’re driving in this area prepare for possibly delays in traffic and drive safely as the roads are slick.

  • I just drove that stretch yesterday and it is horrible is could be the worst road in this country. You would think you are in a 3rd world country driving. DOT should be ashamed of themselves.Alaska has 50 billion permanent fund and 15 billion in reserve account.Take a few dollars out and fix the road.
