Health Care Not Expected to Hurt City Budgets Like Before

The cities of Kenai and Soldotna have started their annual budget process for the upcoming fiscal year.  Last year, both experienced larger-than-average increases for healthcare coverage.  But, Kenai City Manager Rick Koch doesn’t see the city being hit quite as hard, this year.

 

 

Soldotna City Manager Larry Semmens told our news department that the City of Soldotna’s healthcare costs would also experience a three-percent increase, this year.  Both Kenai and Soldotna use the same healthcare provider.
