HEA Fair To Feature Kids Presentations

The Homer Electric Association conservation fair is being held tomorrow. HEA’s Joe Gallagher said they’ve schedule some special presentations this year…

Gallagher: “At our energy fair this year on Saturday at the Kenai Middle School at noon, we’re going to have a special presentation from Doug Johnson  who is with Ocean Renewable Power Company, and they’re the folks that are looking at a possible tidal project in the Cook Inlet area. We’re really focussing on the East Forelands. There’s been a lot of studies done.”

And for the kids…

Gallagher: “And the Energy Hog is the hog. The Hog’s going to be there, and the hog’s going to put on a presentation for the kids. And that’s going to be at 3 o’clock. It should be great.”

There will be over 30 vendors, talking about all aspects of home energy conservation. For more, visit HEA’s online schedule.
