Governor to Visit Kenai Peninsula on Tuesday

The Governor will be on the Peninsula this Tuesday, continuing to sign bills into state law. The Kenai Peninsula Legislative Delegation will join Governor Sean Parnell at the Kenai and Soldotna Chambers of Commerce, where he will sign some of the bills sponsored by those legislators.

At the Chamber lunch, the Governor will reflect on the last legislative session, including the progress of Senate Bill 21, House Bill 4, and the newly-signed state budgets. The Governor said Alaska still needs to exercise fiscal restraint as the state works to increase oil production.

Members of the Chamber are asked to RSVP for the luncheon by this afternoon.
