The price of gasoline has been going up again, this week, on the Kenai Peninsula. AAA of Alaska reported, today, that the average price of gasoline in the Kenai and Soldotna area was $3.65 a gallon. That compares to $3.51 six months ago, and, $2.57 last year. AAA says the average price for one gallon of gasoline in Anchorage is now $3.30. One gallon of gasoline now costs $3.42 in Fairbanks. The price of gasoline in Juneau continues to drop as the State Legislature remains in session. One month ago, the price for one gallon of unleaded in the state’s capital city was $3.08 a gallon. It is now $3.05 a gallon.

and they wonder why tourism is at an all time low just more gauging of the people by big business pay the workin man a little and take all he makes at the pump
So we have the highest on the road system. Juneau has the lowest off the road system. We have a refinery, they don’t. Anchorage dosent have a refinery but we still pay more for gas then Anchorage. Go figure.
Isn’t it funny how much cheaper gas is at our remotely located state capitol? I spoke to an attorney from Juneau who has lived there 30 years. He said they get their gas from the lower 48. Who knows.
ok this is a little silly, why is it just cause State Legislature remains in session they get to pay less, and we have make up for the lost porfits. Hmmm the government is one screwy thing.
