The pressure at the pump is down a little as gas prices in Kenai dropped below $4 today.
On Monday, oil dropped below $100 a barrel for the first time since July 1.
Tom Kloza is the chief oil analyst at Gas Buddy, and he says he expects the prices to continue to drop to the lowest levels seen since late 2010. But…
Kloza: “People still remember years ago when they were paying $1.60 or $1.90 for gasoline and right now they’re at a pretty bad mood in terms of retail in general.”
Nationally, gas prices are averaging $3.36 and $3.82 in Alaska.
