Funeral Services Beginning for South Carolina Families Who Died in Soldotna Crash
Funeral arrangements have been made for one of the two Greenville families killed in last week’s fatal Soldotna plane crash.
Thomas McAfee Funeral Home of Greenville S.C. said it will hold the visitation for Melet and Kimberly Antonakos, as well as their three children 6-year-old Olivia, 14-year-old Mills, and 11-year-old Anastacia from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. the following day at the family’s church, Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville.
As we’ve reported, the Antonakos family was vacationing with family friends Chris and Stacey McManus and their two children Meghan and Conner. The two-families were departing for an overnight bear viewing trip with the plane they were on crashed July 7 while taking off from the Soldotna airport. All nine of them were killed along with the pilot, Willy Rediskie of Nikiski.
