Fund Setup to Help Family of Incoming State GOP Vice-Chair Following House Fire


A fund has been established to help the incoming state Republican Party vice-chair Debbie Brown and her husband Jack after losing their home in Kasilof to a fire early last Wednesday.

The fund has been set up though Bridges Community Resource Network in Soldotna. Those looking to help can contribute to the “Brown’s Family Fund” once gain though Bridges or the Kenai or Soldotna branch of Wells Fargo bank.

Investigators with Central Emergency Services believe the fire from the early morning hours of Wednesday the 24th could have been caused by a towel that had been warmed up in a microwave after a shower and then put on a wooden deck as a possible ignition source.
