The final weeks of the first year of Soldotna’s school reconfiguration are winding down.
The last day of school will be Wednesday, May 20, and Superintendent Sean Dusek said there is a request for Soldotna Area students and parents.
Dusek: “Something that’s out there is the Soldotna area schools reconfiguration survey. What we’re trying to do is just get some more information, get people’s feelings on how this year went. We’ve already gotten lots of feedback, things seem to be coming back positively but we also want things to be able to work on because we know that we can get better.”
That survey comes after Skyview became the area’s middle school, the freshmen class was moved to the old Soldotna Middle School and Skyview and Soldotna High School sophomores, juniors and seniors were combined in Soldotna High School.
