Senate Democrates are calling SB 21, the Governor’s oil tax reform bill, a giveway, saying it will be Alaska’s fiscal cliff.
SB21 will take center stage tomorrow as the senate casts a vote on the bill.
Senator Berta Gardner of Anchorage said they’ve “had zero audits under ACES, [and] no information on capital credits except the two anecdotes from the Governor. The Legislature is being asked to rubber stamp a rush job.”
Democrats hope to significantly amend the bill or vote it down.
