Criminally Negligent Homicide Case after 2010 Head-on Accident Dismissed

A Kenai Judge, this month, dismissed a negligent homicide case, in connection to a 2010 deadly car crash in Nikiski, saying that the grand jury that indicted 37-year-old Clifford Henderson of Anchorage did not receive proper instruction.

As we reported, on November 6th 2010, a couple from Wasilla was killed in a head-on collision at Mile 18 of the Kenai Spur. Troopers reported that the accident involved a semi truck and a Honda CRV.

The Wasilla couple, identified as 68-year-old Paul J. Trissell and his wife Pamela, were traveling southbound on the Kenai Spur as the semi, driven by Henderson was traveling northbound.

The semi went left of center and struck the Honda head-on.

Paul Trissell was killed at the scene. His wife and passenger, 55-year-old Pamela, was transported to Central Peninsula Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
