(AP)Alaska state officials say the manufacturer of Craisins is recalling the packaged dried cranberries because of possible contamination of small hair-like fragments of metal.
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation says there
have been no reports of health problems involving the product,
certain production lots of Ocean Spray Original Flavor Craisins.
Packages in various sizes are affected and have “best-by”
dates ranging from Oct. 27, 2012 to Nov. 5, 2013. All affected
packages have dates followed by the letter “M.”
